it is very expensive to own a vehicle. i have a truck. since i have a truck it sucks on gas mileage so i spend about an average of 70 dollars in gas a week(thats driving to school and work... not even when i go out and stuff). its also expensive because it is an old piece of crap and everything is falling apart. just 2 weeks ago my muffler and exhaust system fell off so that is going to cost alot of money.
on the other hand, it is much more convienent to have my own car. my parents dont have to waste their time taking me to work and school and everywhere else i go and i dont have to wait for a bus or take a taxi.
overall, i dont know what i would do with out my truck

I haven't owned a car in about four years. I wonder how different my life would be in that four years if things had been different. My daily routines are definitely defined by auto-lessness. I have a bike and that helps--but in rain or snow I'm less likely to make bike trips. Overall, I'd like to think I've saved a lot of money and hopefully saved the air a little bit of tailpipe exhaust.
